This painting holds a double meaning for me. After my grandmother passed away, I found myself searching for her, wanting her back, looking for her on the clouds.
And yet my ultimate hope and comfort are Christ returning, coming on the clouds. Breaking through this fallen world of death and pain to make all things new. ✨
